Human Deoxycytidine kinase (DCK) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Deoxycytidine kinase (DCK) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, making it relevant to cancer studies, where DCK is recognised as a key enzyme in the activation of nucleoside analog drugs used in cancer chemotherapy and as a biomarker linked to drug resistance and efficacy.

The kit detects natural and recombinant human DCK (synonym: dCK) and reports a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.083ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.1% and inter-assay CV is 10.2%. Reported linearity values (N=5) for serum range from 92-102% at 1:2 to 83-93% at 1:16; EDTA plasma ranges from 93-102% to 103-112%; and heparin plasma ranges from 80-90% to 111-120%. Recovery is reported as 81% (range 80-87%) for serum and 83% (range 80-89%) for plasma. The target is a homodimer localised to the nucleus, with Uniprot accession P27707.
