Human Delta (3,5)-Delta (2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase, mitochondrial (ECH1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of ECH1 (Delta(3,5)-Delta(2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase, mitochondrial) in human biological samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.178ng/mL, and is specific for natural and recombinant human Delta(3,5)-Delta(2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase, mitochondrial. Linearity has been validated for serum (N=5), EDTA plasma (N=5), and heparin plasma (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.

ECH1 catalyses the isomerization of 3-trans,5-cis-dienoyl-CoA to 2-trans,4-trans-dienoyl-CoA and is a homohexamer localised to the mitochondrion and peroxisome. The kit is intended for research use only and is associated with cardiovascular research.
