DcR3 (Decoy Receptor 3, also known as TNFRSF6B or TR6) is a secreted member of the TNF receptor superfamily. Unlike most TNF receptor family members, it lacks a transmembrane anchor and circulates as a soluble decoy receptor. DcR3 binds and neutralizes three TNF-family ligands: FasL, LIGHT (TNFSF14), and TL1A (TNFSF15), thereby modulating apoptosis, T-cell co-stimulation, and inflammatory signaling. Dysregulated circulating DcR3 levels have been studied as a biomarker in oncology, autoimmune disease, and transplant immunology research.
