The microplate kit uses a double-antibody capture format with biotin-conjugated detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin to bind the 38 kDa target encoded at chromosome 11q24.2 (gene aliases DCS1, HINT5, HSPC015, Hint-related 7meGMP-directed hydrolase). Each run uses 100 µL of sample, with standards, detection reagent, and the pre-coated plate aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, while wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, and diluents are kept refrigerated at 4 °C; reconstituted components should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
