Human Daxx ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human DAXX (Death Domain Associated Protein) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and a colorimetric readout, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Sensitivity is reported as 37.5 pg/mL, with a standard range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. The kit targets DAXX, a multifunctional protein involved in apoptosis, transcription regulation, and the DNA damage response, and is intended for research use in the area of cell death, where dysregulation of DAXX has been associated with cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and viral infections.

The assay workflow includes reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions falls between 89% and 104%. Spiking recovery averages 99% for serum and EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, and specific protocol instructions are included with each kit batch.
