The Assay Genie D-Dopachrome Tautomerase (DDT) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of DDT (also called MIF-2), a tautomerase-family cytokine that signals through the CD74 receptor and shares functional overlap with macrophage migration inhibitory factor. Researchers apply this kit to study DDT involvement in inflammatory cascades, leukocyte recruitment, and tumor microenvironment remodeling using tissue homogenates and cell lysates from human donors.
All reagents are supplied for in vitro research use only and should be stored refrigerated at the temperature indicated on the package; components remain stable through the printed shelf life. The microplate format supports standard curve generation in triplicate, and the protocol is calibrated specifically for human DDT isoforms with no significant cross-reactivity observed for related MIF-family proteins. Investigators working on the MIF/DDT signaling axis, sepsis biomarkers, or inflammation-related oncology will find this kit a useful addition to their cytokine profiling workflow.
