Human D-dopachrome decarboxylase (DDT) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human D-dopachrome decarboxylase (DDT) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids using a colorimetric detection method. The assay has a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.3%. Spike-and-recovery testing gave an average recovery of 104% (range 98–110%) for serum and 106% (range 100–112%) for plasma, with linearity demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human D-dopachrome decarboxylase, a cytoplasmic homotrimer that catalyses the tautomerization of D-dopachrome with decarboxylation to give 5,6-dihydroxyindole (DHI) and belongs to the MIF family (UniProt P30046).
