Human D (1A)dopamine receptor (DRD1) ELISA Kit

The DRD1 receptor is a key component of the dopaminergic system, involved in motor control, reward mechanisms and cognitive functions, and its dysregulation has been implicated in neurological and psychiatric disorders. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to neuroscience research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.5% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. The detection method is colorimetric. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human D(1A) dopamine receptor, and the target functions as a G-protein coupled receptor whose activity is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase (UniProt: P21728).

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Linearity has been tested in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, and recovery in serum averages 94% (range 88-100) while plasma averages 96% (range 90-102).
