BMX, also known as bone marrow tyrosine kinase gene in chromosome X protein, Epithelial and endothelial tyrosine kinase, NTK38 or ETK, is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase of the Tec family. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human Cytoplasmic tyrosine-protein kinase BMX and reports a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 3.4% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 6.9% (CV). Linearity was established in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Recovery averaged 101% (range 95-107%) in serum and 103% (range 97-109%) in plasma. BMX is localized to the cytoplasm and is implicated in signaling pathways relevant to cancer research.
