Human Cytokeratin Fragment 21-1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate and sensitive measurement of human cytokeratin fragment 21.1 (CYFRA21-1) in research samples. Cytokeratin fragment 21.1 is a biomarker associated with several diseases, including cancer and inflammatory conditions, and its detection can provide insights into disease progression and treatment efficacy.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. It is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. The kit should be stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate, sequential binding of a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin, TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
