Human Cytokeratin 1/KRT1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's cytokeratin 1 (KRT1) ELISA Kit is a sandwich double-antibody immunoassay for measuring cytokeratin 1 levels in human samples. It is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric TMB substrate read at 450 nm.

The manufacturer states a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 81–105%, with recovery between 85–102% across the same sample types. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Cytokeratin 1 is described as a key cytoskeletal protein in epithelial cells, with abnormal levels linked to skin disorders such as epidermolysis bullosa simplex and psoriasis, supporting research in epithelial cell biology and dermatology.
