Human Cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) ELISA Kit

CYP2C9 is a key hepatic enzyme involved in drug metabolism, and variations in its activity can affect how individuals metabolise medications such as S-warfarin, diclofenac, phenytoin, tolbutamide and losartan, making it a relevant target for pharmacogenomics, drug interaction studies and personalised medicine research.

The kit employs a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Specificity has been confirmed for natural and recombinant human Cytochrome P450 2C9 (UniProt P11712), and the kit is intended for research use only.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (87-102%), EDTA plasma (84-119%) and heparin plasma (84-115%) across serial dilutions, with reported recovery of 80-91% in serum and 81-93% in plasma.
