Human Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay shows reactivity with human samples and specificity for natural and recombinant human CYP1A2.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 7.8% and inter-assay CV at 11.2%. Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum (99-121%), EDTA plasma (99-117%) and heparin plasma (97-119%). Mean recovery is 107% (101-113%) in serum and 109% (103-115%) in plasma.

CYP1A2 is a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase (UniProt P05177) involved in the metabolism of endogenous substrates such as fatty acids, steroid hormones and vitamins, as well as the oxidative metabolism of xenobiotics. The protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and microsome membrane. The kit is for research use only and is classified within the cardiovascular research area.
