Human Cytochrome P450 1A1/CYP1A1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human Cytochrome P450 1A1 (CYP1A1) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. CYP1A1 is a key enzyme involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics and endogenous compounds, playing a crucial role in drug metabolism, detoxification and the activation of carcinogens. Dysregulation of CYP1A1 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it an important biomarker for studying these conditions and developing targeted therapies.

The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human CYP1A1. The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.1% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. Spike-and-recovery performance shows serum averaging 99% (range 93–105%) and plasma averaging 101% (range 95–107%). Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilution of spiked samples, with serum ranging from 88–98% to 114–123%, EDTA plasma from 84–84% to 101–111%, and heparin plasma from 98–110% to 106–115% across the dilution series. Sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
