Human Cytochrome P450 19A1 (CYP19A1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Human Cytochrome P450 19A1 (CYP19A1), also known as aromatase, in human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Aromatase, with a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8pg/mL.

CYP19A1 is a key enzyme that catalyzes the formation of aromatic C18 estrogens from C19 androgens, and its dysregulation has been linked to breast cancer, endometriosis, and osteoporosis. The kit is listed under the cardiovascular research area and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance includes an Intra CV of 4.6% and Inter CV of 7.9%, with linearity demonstrated across serum (92-112%), EDTA plasma (91-114%), and heparin plasma (84-116%) over dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16. Average recovery is 85% for serum (range 80-91%) and 87% for plasma (range 81-93%).
