Human Cysteine Rich Secretory Protein 2 (CRISP2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie CRISP2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Cysteine-Rich Secretory Protein 2 in tissue homogenates and other sample matrices relevant to reproductive research. CRISP2, also termed testis-specific protein TPX1, is predominantly expressed during spermatogenesis and localizes to the acrosomal cap and the principal piece of the sperm flagellum, where it contributes to flagellar motility and the sperm-oocyte fusion step of fertilization. Because of this restricted expression pattern, the kit is particularly useful for reproductive biology and andrology research projects examining asthenozoospermia, globozoospermia, idiopathic male infertility, and the molecular characterization of germ-cell development.
