Human Cystathionine gamma-lyase (CTH) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Cystathionine gamma-lyase (CTH) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with natural and recombinant human CTH, and the target protein is also known by the synonyms Cysteine-protein sulfhydrase and Gamma-cystathionase (UniProt P32929).

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.23ng/mL, an Intra CV of 6.7% and an Inter CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been measured across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 103% for serum (range 97-109%) and 105% for plasma (range 99-111%). CTH is a cytoplasmic enzyme in the trans-sulfuration pathway that catalyses the last step from methionine to cysteine and contributes to endogenous hydrogen sulfide (H2S) production, supporting research in cell biology.
