Human CYP7A1/Cholesterol 7-alpha-monooxygenase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human CYP7A1 (Cholesterol 7-alpha-monooxygenase) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method based on a double-antibody sandwich format.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (96–100%, 82–94%, 82–100%), EDTA plasma (88–104%, 85–99%, 80–99%) and heparin plasma (86–93%, 84–99%, 85–100%). Recovery ranges are 85–105% for serum, 89–103% for EDTA plasma and 95–101% for heparin plasma, with stated averages of 96%, 97% and 98% respectively. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
