Human CYP2C9/Cytochrome P450 2C9 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human CYP2C9 (Cytochrome P450 2C9). The double-antibody format delivers a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, and spike-and-recovery testing gives reported averages of 97% for serum, 99% for EDTA plasma and 96% for heparin plasma. All kit reagents are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

CYP2C9 is a cytochrome P450 enzyme involved in drug metabolism, contributing to the metabolism of approximately 15–20% of clinically used drugs. The kit is intended for metabolism research applications such as pharmacogenomics and personalised-medicine studies. Uniprot reference: P11712.
