Human CYP27B1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay designed for the quantitative detection of CYP27B1 in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CYP27B1 is an enzyme involved in vitamin D metabolism that contributes to the regulation of calcium and phosphate, and its dysregulation has been associated with conditions such as osteoporosis, autoimmune disorders, and certain cancers.

The colorimetric assay has a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Linearity has been verified in serum (88–105% at 1:2, 85–105% at 1:4, 86–103% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (89–101%, 87–97%, 86–96%), and heparin plasma (85–95%, 88–99%, 81–100%). Recovery ranges from 86–103% in serum (average 93%), 92–105% in EDTA plasma (average 97%), and 93–102% in heparin plasma (average 98%). The procedure follows a stepwise incubation using a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, with signal development via TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
