Human Cyclophilin B (CYPB) ELISA Kit

Cyclophilin B (PPIB) is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase of approximately 22 kDa that participates in protein folding, collagen triple-helix maturation, and inflammatory signaling. As a cyclosporine A-binding immunophilin, CypB also modulates calcineurin-NFAT signaling and has been implicated in T-cell activation pathways. Released from cells during ER stress and inflammatory activation, extracellular CypB has attracted attention as a candidate biomarker in rheumatoid arthritis, hepatic fibrosis, cardiovascular remodeling, sepsis, and tumor microenvironment studies. Loss-of-function mutations in PPIB cause a recessive form of osteogenesis imperfecta, underscoring its structural role in connective tissue assembly. The Assay Genie kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring human CypB across multiple sample matrices, with results read on a microplate reader after substrate development.
