Human Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Cyclin-dependent kinase 4.

The assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.1pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 7.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been characterised across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (98-106%, 87-97%, 91-103%, 108-118%), EDTA plasma (92-102%, 98-108%, 99-108%, 109-118%) and heparin plasma (83-93%, 92-102%, 83-93%, 93-103%). Recovery values are reported for serum (average 108%, range 102-114%) and plasma (average 110%, range 104-116%).

CDK4 is a Ser/Thr-kinase component of cyclin D-CDK4 complexes that phosphorylate members of the retinoblastoma (RB) protein family and regulate cell-cycle progression during the G(1)/S transition. The kit is intended for research use only and supports research in the cancer area.
