Human CYB5R2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of CYB5R2 in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates and other liquid samples. The double antibody format shows a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

CYB5R2 (also known as NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase 2) is an enzyme involved in electron transport and metabolism, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, making it a useful biomarker in related research. Performance data report linearity of 85–104% in serum, 82–99% in EDTA plasma and 80–100% in heparin plasma at 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, with average recovery of 95% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 97% in heparin plasma.

The assay uses an HRP–streptavidin detection system with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with the lyophilized standard and microplate strips stable at –20°C for 12 months.
