Human CXCR1/IL-8 receptor alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human CXCR1 (IL-8 receptor alpha). The double-antibody, colorimetric assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with a standard curve range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Recovery testing across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma yields average recoveries of 95%, 96%, and 96%, respectively, with linearity between 82% and 103% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions.

The detection workflow uses a biotinylated antibody followed by HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. CXCR1 is a chemokine receptor involved in inflammatory responses and immune cell migration, with implications in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and infectious diseases, making this kit suitable for cell biology research.
