Human CXCL7/NAP-2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human CXCL7 (Platelet basic protein) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a pre-coated capture antibody and a biotin-conjugated detection antibody, followed by HRP-Streptavidin binding and TMB substrate development. The HRP-catalysed reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Validated for use with human samples (UniProt P02775), the kit has a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. Recognised aliases for the target include CTAP III, NAP-2, PPBP, beta-thromboglobulin, SCYB7, and small inducible cytokine B7. The kit is intended for research use only.

Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample dilution buffer, 100X biotin-labelled antibody with antibody dilution buffer, 100X HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, and plate sealers. Liquid reagents are stored at 2–8 °C, with light-sensitive components protected from direct light, while lyophilised standards and unused strips can be kept at –20 °C for longer storage. The quick protocol involves sequential incubation with sample, biotin-labelled antibody working solution, and SABC working solution, followed by TMB substrate and stop solution before reading at 450 nm.
