Human CXADR ELISA Kit

A quantitative Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody assay for the measurement of human CXADR (Coxsackie virus and adenovirus receptor) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions has been demonstrated at 80–101% for serum, 83–99% for EDTA plasma, and 82–105% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 91% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma. The procedure follows a standard sandwich workflow: samples and standards are incubated on a pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a 60-minute incubation with a biotinylated detection antibody, a 30-minute incubation with HRP-streptavidin, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C with a shelf life of 12 months.

CXADR is a protein involved in cell adhesion and communication, and serves as a receptor for Coxsackie and adenoviruses. The protein has been implicated in cardiovascular diseases, muscular dystrophy, and cancer. The kit is listed under the cell biology research area.
