Human CX3C chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of human CX3C chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) in research samples. The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and shows reactivity specifically with human samples.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.6% and inter-assay CV is 6.3%. Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum (105-115%, 86-99%, 90-100%, 101-112%), EDTA plasma (102-114%, 88-98%, 93-103%, 84-94%), and heparin plasma (97-110%, 95-103%, 88-97%, 104-114%). Recovery averaged 98% for serum (range 92-104%) and 100% for plasma (range 94-106%). Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human CX3CR1.

CX3CR1, also known by synonyms including Fractalkine receptor, GPR13, V28, CMK-BRL-1, and C-X3-C CKR-1, is a G-protein coupled receptor that binds the chemokine fractalkine (CX3CL1) and mediates both adhesive and migratory functions; it also acts as a coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 in vitro.
