Human CTAP III/Connective Tissue Activating Peptide III ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a Double Antibody immunoassay, is designed for the quantitative measurement of Connective Tissue Activating Peptide III (CTAP-III) in human samples. The kit supports research applications investigating connective tissue biology, including processes such as wound healing and tissue repair, where CTAP-III is involved in the activation of connective tissue cells. Dysregulation of this peptide has been associated with fibrosis, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases.

Accepted sample types are serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 18.75 ng/mL and a measurement range of 31.25-2000 ng/mL, with reactivity specific to human samples. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) 80-94%, 88-100%, 86-100%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 83-100%, 80-99%, 83-96%; heparin plasma (n=5) 83-105%, 80-99%, 82-100%. Recovery was determined as serum 82-91% (average 87%), EDTA plasma 81-99% (average 92%), and heparin plasma 81-100% (average 91%).
