The Human CTACK (CCL27) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is configured for quantitative measurement of cutaneous T-cell attracting chemokine in human biological samples, supporting immunology, dermatology and oncology research. CTACK is a keratinocyte-derived CC chemokine that signals through the CCR10 receptor to direct skin-homing of memory T lymphocytes, and it is routinely investigated in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis and cutaneous melanoma metastasis studies.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate strip format with a sandwich capture and detection antibody pair, TMB-based color development read at 450 nm, and an eight-point standard curve spanning 31.2 to 2000 pg/mL. Researchers load 100 µL of serum, plasma or cell culture supernatant per well, with a minimum detectable concentration (sensitivity) of approximately 7.8 pg/mL. Unopened kit components are best stored at -20 degrees C, while reconstituted standards and working detection antibody should be kept refrigerated at 2-8 degrees C and protected from light to preserve activity through limited freeze-thaw cycles. Each kit is supplied with pre-coated plate strips, standard vial, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.

Validation by the supplier indicates the capture antibody pair is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity with mouse or rat CCL27, making this assay appropriate for translational work on human keratinocyte cultures, PBMC-derived supernatants and clinical serum samples. The product is supplied for research use only and is compatible with standard microplate readers.
