Human CST9 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human CST9 (Cystatin 9) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection read at 450 nm, and the kit supports research into CST9's role in protease regulation, cellular homeostasis, and its reported involvement in cancer, inflammation, and neurodegenerative disorders.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 82–103% for serum, 83–104% for EDTA plasma, and 81–103% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 85–104%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 85–97%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 90–104%).

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls for a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, binding with biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
