Human CRY alphaB (Crystallin Alpha B) ELISA Kit (HUES02541)

Crystallin alphaB (CRYAB, also called HSPB5) is a 20 kDa small heat shock protein that acts as a molecular chaperone, holding partially folded substrates in a folding-competent state under cellular stress. Quantifying this chaperone in human specimens supports ophthalmology, neuromuscular disease, and oncology research, where CRYAB dysregulation has been linked to cataracts, myofibrillar myopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, and certain solid tumours.

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures endogenous CRYAB using an absorbance-based end-point readout. Reagents are supplied for 96 assays in a microplate workflow that fits mid-throughput screening of patient cohorts, tissue lysates, or conditioned media.
