Designed for translational immunology laboratories, this Assay Genie ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of human Cytotoxic and Regulatory T-cell Molecule (CRTAM), also known as CD355 and Class-I MHC-restricted T-cell-associated molecule, in serum and plasma specimens. Built on a sandwich-based colorimetric workflow, the assay uses a pre-coated 96-well strip microplate with lyophilized standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and TMB one-step substrate, giving researchers a complete reagent set for up to 96 individual determinations. The kit targets human CRTAM (UniProt O95727, Gene ID 56253) with no detectable cross-reactivity against a broad panel of related cytokines, supporting reliable discrimination of activated T-cell and NK-cell engagement markers in clinical research samples.

Each plate run uses a 100 uL sample volume with a 2-fold recommended dilution for serum and plasma, allowing laboratories to conserve precious clinical specimens while preserving quantitative accuracy. Following the standard protocol, investigators add standard or sample, incubate, then sequentially apply biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, and TMB substrate before reading absorbance on a standard 450 nm microplate reader, with the full workflow completable within a single working day. The Assay Genie reagent format supports studies of tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte biology, NK-cell synapse formation via the CADM1 ligand interaction, and biomarker discovery in chronic viral and autoimmune cohorts, while remaining designated for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
