From Assay Genie, this kit targets CRTAC1 (Cartilage Acidic Protein 1), a secreted extracellular matrix protein abundantly expressed in articular cartilage, intervertebral disc tissue, and pulmonary epithelium. Quantifying circulating CRTAC1 levels supports research into osteoarthritis progression, cartilage degeneration, intervertebral disc disease, and lung injury models. The capture antibody pair is human-specific, enabling selective measurement of endogenous protein in cell culture supernatants and clinical biofluids.
