Quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring human Crossveinless-2 (CV-2), also known as BMPER (BMP-binding endothelial regulator), a secreted glycoprotein that binds BMP2, BMP4, and BMP6 and modulates their signaling output in the extracellular space.

BMPER has been characterized as a context-dependent regulator of angiogenesis, with altered levels linked to vascular inflammation, atherosclerosis, pulmonary hypertension, diabetic vascular complications, renal fibrosis, and tumor angiogenesis. The kit is therefore suited to vascular biology research, BMP pathway dissection, and biomarker profiling of cell culture supernatant, plasma, or serum samples from human donors.

Supplied in a 96-assay format with pre-coated plate, capture and detection antibodies, standards, and assay buffer. The workflow is absorbance-based and runs on standard ELISA plate readers.
