The Assay Genie CRISPLD1 ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of cysteine-rich secretory protein LCCL domain-containing 1 in human serum or plasma specimens, supporting investigations into mucosal immunity, lung biology, and inflammatory signaling.

CRISPLD1, also referred to as LCRISP1, encodes a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the CAP superfamily. The protein carries an LCCL module and is constitutively expressed at high levels in airway epithelium, salivary gland, and other mucosal surfaces, where it contributes to innate host defense through antimicrobial activity and regulation of extracellular matrix interactions. Dysregulation of CRISPLD1 has been reported in studies of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma susceptibility, and craniofacial morphogenesis, making it a relevant biomarker for respiratory and developmental research.

The 96 Assays format is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, and substrate solution. The recommended storage condition is -20 degrees C for long-term stability, with working reagents refrigerated between uses. Researchers run standard curves across a dynamic range expressed in ng/mL and require only a small sample volume per well, allowing efficient use of limited clinical specimens. The assay is intended for research use only and is validated for the quantitative detection of human CRISPLD1.
