Human CRISP-2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0454)

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring human Cysteine-Rich Secretory Protein 2 (CRISP-2), a testis- and epididymis-enriched glycoprotein involved in spermatogenesis, sperm capacitation, and the acrosome reaction. The kit is built for reproductive biology, andrology, and immunology laboratories that profile CRISP-2 abundance in patient cohorts, testicular germ cell tumour cell lines, or experimental animal models.

CRISP-2 is of clinical interest in studies of male-factor infertility, antisperm autoantibody formation, and post-vasectomy remodelling of the epididymis, and changes in CRISP-2 expression have been documented in the seminal plasma of men with obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia. The kit therefore supports biomarker discovery workflows, contraceptive target validation, and basic research into sperm-egg fusion mechanisms. Each kit is sized for 96 individual reactions and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic procedures.

The assay is configured for use with cell culture supernatant, plasma, and serum specimens, and runs on a standard microplate reader platform. Pre-coated plate strips, lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution are included, along with a detailed protocol. Reagents should be stored refrigerated upon arrival, and multiple freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted standards should be avoided to preserve calibration integrity.
