Human CRHBP ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's CRHBP ELISA Kit is a sandwich-based, double-antibody immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of Corticotropin Releasing Hormone Binding Protein in human samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CRHBP is described as a key protein involved in regulating the stress response and the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, with dysregulation linked to stress-related disorders.

Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 81-102% for serum, 84-100% for EDTA plasma, and 82-99% for heparin plasma. Sample recovery averages 97% for serum, 92% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, incubating samples at 37°C for 90 minutes for primary antigen binding, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance measured immediately at 450 nm.
