Human CPVL (Probable serine carboxypeptidase CPVL) ELISA KIT (HUFI05391)

This Assay Genie ELISA kit quantifies human Probable serine carboxypeptidase CPVL in experimental samples. CPVL is a lysosomal serine carboxypeptidase most highly expressed in macrophages and dendritic cells, where its peptide-trimming activity contributes to antigen processing during MHC class I presentation. Research has implicated altered CPVL expression in tumor-associated macrophages and chronic inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis and certain leukemias, making the protein a candidate biomarker in studies of immune cell function and disease.

The two-antibody immunoassay produces an absorbance-based readout on a standard microplate reader and is supplied as a complete reagent set with pre-coated wells, detection antibody, recombinant CPVL standards, substrate solution, and wash buffer. Reconstituted components are intended for in vitro research use only and should be brought to room temperature before initiating the assay. The kit is validated for use with human serum samples, EDTA-treated plasma, and cell culture supernatants from macrophage and monocyte lineages.
