Human Corticotropin-releasing factor-binding protein (CRHBP) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Corticotropin-releasing factor-binding protein (CRHBP). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for use with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit specifically recognizes natural and recombinant human CRHBP.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 24pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 3.8% CV and inter-assay precision is 7.1% CV. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery rates are 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma. The kit is for research use only and is associated with cardiovascular research.

CRHBP is a secreted regulatory protein central to the stress response and the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis.
