Human Connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides this ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), also designated CCN family member 2. The assay is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is labelled for research use only.

According to the manufacturer's technical manual, the kit operates on a competitive ELISA principle using antigen-coated wells and a colorimetric read-out measured at 450 nm. The stated detection range is 0.78–50 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.21 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.0% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Spike recovery is given as 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human CCN family member 2 (UniProt P29279), and the included Bradford reagent allows total protein normalisation of lysate and homogenate samples.
