Human Complement Factor P (CFP) ELISA Kit

Complement Factor P, also known as Properdin, is the only positive regulator of the alternative complement pathway and is encoded by the X-linked PFC gene. This Assay Genie sandwich ELISA uses a human-specific capture antibody pair, enabling quantitative detection of native Properdin in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Researchers apply the kit to investigate alternative pathway dysregulation in conditions such as recurrent meningococcal infection, C3 glomerulopathy, systemic lupus erythematosus, and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome. Each well requires a 50 µL sample volume, with standards and unknown samples typically run in duplicate for reliable quantitation. Unopened components should be stored refrigerated at 4°C, protected from light, and the microplate equilibrated to room temperature before use.
