Human Complement factor I/CFI ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA with double-antibody format from Assay Genie, designed for the precise and reliable measurement of complement factor I (CFI) levels in human biological samples. Complement factor I is a key component of the complement system, a vital part of the immune response that helps eliminate pathogens and damaged cells. Dysregulation of complement factor I has been implicated in various immune-related disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and supporting research in immunology and inflammation.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 56.25 ng/mL with a detection range of 93.75–6000 ng/mL, and is reactive with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity values across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions fall within 80–104% for serum, 81–101% for EDTA plasma, and 85–102% for heparin plasma, while recovery averages 98% across the same matrices. The assay procedure involves reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37 °C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
