Human Complement factor I (CFI) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Complement factor I (CFI), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL. The assay is reactive with human Complement factor I and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%.

Complement factor I is a serine proteinase responsible for cleaving the alpha-chains of C4b and C3b in the presence of the cofactors C4-binding protein and factor H. The mature protein circulates as a heterodimer of disulfide-linked light and heavy chains, is secreted to the extracellular space, and is associated with immunology research. The kit has been validated for specificity against natural and recombinant human Complement factor I and is for research use only.
