Human Complement factor H-related protein 1 (CFHR1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this human-reactive Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Complement factor H-related protein 1 (CFHR1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CFHR1 is a secreted protein (UniProt Q03591) involved in complement regulation, with research relevance to autoimmune diseases, kidney disorders, and age-related macular degeneration. The kit is intended for research use only.

Key performance specifications include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.43 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.5% and inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Specificity is established for natural and recombinant human CFHR1. Linearity has been tested in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery averages 98% in serum (range 92–104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94–106%). The colorimetric protocol is read at 450 nm.
