Human Complement component C1q receptor (CD93) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for quantitative measurement of human Complement component C1q receptor (CD93) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The kit employs ELISA detection with a reported detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.11ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.6% and inter-assay CV is 8.6%. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Complement component C1q receptor.

CD93 is a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt Q9NPY3, molecular weight 68,560 Da, chromosomal location 20p11.21) that functions as a receptor, or as part of a larger receptor complex, for C1q, mannose-binding lectin (MBL2) and pulmonary surfactant protein A (SPA), and may mediate the enhancement of phagocytosis in monocytes and macrophages upon interaction with soluble defense collagens, as well as intercellular adhesion. The kit is supplied for research use only and is intended for immunology applications.
