Human Complement Component 4a (C4a) ELISA Kit

Built around a solid-phase immunoassay workflow, this kit from Assay Genie delivers quantitative measurement of human Complement Component 4a (C4a), a transient anaphylatoxin generated during classical and lectin complement pathway activation. C4a is produced when C1s or MASP-2 cleave circulating C4, releasing the small fragment from the larger C4b product, and its accumulation has been examined in studies of systemic lupus erythematosus, hereditary angioedema, immune complex deposition, and complement-mediated transplant injury.

The kit is supplied in a 96-assay configuration with a pre-coated microplate, enzyme conjugate, reference standards, and wash buffer sufficient to generate a standard curve across the working range. Reagents are intended for research use only and remain stable when stored refrigerated between runs; protect the plate and conjugate from light to preserve activity.
