Human Complement C7/C7 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of complement C7 in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout, measuring absorbance at 450 nm, and is positioned for immunology research, including the study of complement-mediated diseases.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity (n=5) for serum is 86–100% at 1:2, 84–98% at 1:4, and 81–96% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma, 86–97%, 87–97%, and 86–102%; and for heparin plasma, 94–105%, 85–96%, and 83–100%. Recovery ranges are 87–105% (average 98%) for serum, 96–102% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 91–104% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with strips and standards also suitable for 12 months at -20°C.
