The double-antibody assay has a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity falls between 80% and 105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, and recovery averages 94–97% in these matrices. The procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and TMB-based color development read at 450 nm.
