Human Complement C4-B/C4B ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Complement C4-B/C4B ELISA Kit is a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Complement C4-B/C4B in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 2.813 ng/mL and a range of 4.688-300 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, yielding recoveries of 93-101%, 89-97% and 85-100% for serum; 90-102%, 85-101% and 86-99% for EDTA plasma; and 85-99%, 86-101% and 89-98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 96% from serum (range 89-104%), 95% from EDTA plasma (range 90-105%) and 99% from heparin plasma (range 90-105%). The kit is stored at 2-8°C and is stable for 12 months under those conditions.
