Human Complement C4-A (C4A) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of complement C4-A in human samples, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie detects both natural and recombinant human Complement C4-A. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The reported detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.39ng/mL.

Precision data quote an intra-assay CV of 7.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity ranges across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are 88-116% in serum, 98-115% in EDTA plasma and 91-114% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 92% for serum (range 86-98%) and 94% for plasma (range 88-100%).

Complement C4-A is a key component of the classical complement pathway, where the C4a fragment acts as a mediator of local inflammation.
